The four teams finishing in the bottom two positions in each round of the YoHealth Malta Premier will face off in pursuit of survival, with the final verdict to be decided this weekend.

This Sunday, Mosta face Naxxar at the National Stadium, while Zabbar face Tarxien at the Tony Bezzina Stadium, with both games scheduled for Sunday 10th May at 11am.

Tarxien forced a relegation decider against Zabbar after beating the same team 3-2 in a league position decider on Tuesday evening due to both teams finishing level on 15 points.

Naxxar find themselves in the same situation they were in this time last year, despite finishing in the Top 6 in this season's Closing Round. Mosta have one last chance to secure a place in next season's Premier League after finishing last in the Closing Round.
