On World Social Justice Day, Fgura United proudly shared an update on their innovative Goal of Care initiative, which donates €5 to charity for every goal scored by the club’s U15, U17, U21, and Senior teams in official matches.

Since the programme began, Fgura United players have collectively scored 109 goals, raising a total of €545.

The funds support the Association for Abandoned Animals and Frame Football Malta, helping feed abandoned dogs and provide football equipment to children in need.

The initiative, conceived by the club’s newly formed Players’ Council, aims to inspire players to score not just for victory but to make a tangible difference in the community.

The club president, Larkin Bonnici, praised the players for their generosity and spirit, noting: “I am proud of these players, above all, they are human beings with kind hearts.”

Through this programme, Fgura United continues to show that football can be a force for positive social impact, on and off the pitch.
