Fgura United Beat Attard 1-0 Right Before International Break
Local
Fgura United achieved a narrow 1-0 win over Attard in today's midday fixture at the Centenary Stadium, which temporarily places them in fourth place in the Challenge League standings.
After struggling to penetrate Attard's compact defence, Bruno Souza capitalised off a mistake at the back, dribbled the goalkeeper and placed the ball in the empty net right before halftime.
Despite Attard putting pressure in the second half, Fgura managed to hold on to secure an important three points right before the November international break.
