Federico Varela Wins Foreign Player Of The Year Award At MFA Awards

Federico Varela won the best foreign player award at the MFA Awards held yesterday evening.
In his first season in Malta, Federico made an immediate impact with Floriana F.C. He was a key figure throughout the Malta Premier League and the Final Four, racking up 33 appearances and 8 goals, one of which was Floriana's equaliser in the final game against Marsaxlokk.
He also featured in European competition with 4 appearances, added 2 outings in the FA Trophy, and made one further appearance in the Jubilee Cup.
