Fabio Spiteri Recalls Sicily Cycling Experience 5 Years Ago Today

Fabio Spiteri is looking back to his Sicily cycling experience five years ago, during which he managed to cycle around Sicily, registering the second fastest time in the world when doing so.
He took to social media to commemorate the achievement, remarking that "today exactly 5 years ago I managed to cycle the 2nd fastest time in the world round Sicily non stop in under 48hrs!!"
This consisted of 970km with 8500m of elevation in 47hrs 41 mins, with Fabio sharing that "this ride gave me confidence to move from triple ironman to quintuple ironman!"
