Fabio Spiteri begins epic journey to Brazil to raise funds for abused animals

Ultra‑endurance athlete Fabio Spiteri has officially begun his long and demanding journey to Brazil, where he will take on one of the toughest ultra races on the planet. Spiteri, known for his resilience and humanitarian spirit, is travelling with his crew and two bikes as he prepares to represent Malta among the giants of global endurance sport.

His mission goes far beyond athletic achievement. Spiteri is dedicating this challenge to raising funds for neglected, voiceless and abused animals, a cause he has championed for years. Determined and emotional before departure, he vowed to reach the finish line “even if I have to crawl,” underlining the grit that has defined his career.
