Fabio Spiteri Awarded Local Record For IUTA Ultra Achievement

The Malta Records recently awarded Fabio Spiteri for his recent achievement in becoming the first Maltese to climb the podium in the international competition IUTA Ultra Event.
Spiteri, known as Malta’s Iron Man, finished in second place and placed first in the category of those over 50 years. He managed to complete 10 Ironman distances in less than 10 days.
He swam 38 kilometres, drove the bicycle for 1800 kilometres and ran 422 kilometres in 233 hours, 39 minutes and 29 seconds.
