Ezekiel Barbara Officiates 40th Malta Premier Match

Maltese referee Ezekiel Barbara has officiated his 40th Maltese Premier League match, taking charge of the tense encounter between Żabbar St. Patrick and Ħamrun Spartans, which ended in a goalless 0–0 stalemate.
Barbara made his Premier League refereeing debut six years ago, overseeing one of Malta’s historic derbies between Hibernians F.C. and Tarxien Rainbows F.C..
The draw proved to be a positive result for Żabbar, who impressed in their first match under new coach Gilbert Agius, earning their first points of the season against the reigning champions.
Widely regarded as one of Malta’s brightest and most promising referees, Barbara will no doubt be aiming to continue progressing in his officiating career.
