The preliminary round in the women’s futsal sector concluded this week, with three decisive matches shaping the play‑off lineup. In the Enemed Women’s Futsal League, St George’s Futsal secured a strong 6–0 victory over St Andrews Futsal to retain second place. Leaders Zero Sei Futsal continued their dominant form with a 4–0 win against Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus, while Swieqi United Futsal LEC07 earned a 5–1 triumph over Parr Mela Rockets Futsal.

After ten matches, Zero Sei Futsal top the standings with 28 points, followed by St George’s Futsal on 20, Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus on 19, and Swieqi United Futsal LEC07 on 13. These four teams now progress to the play‑offs. In the Women’s Futsal Trophy, Swieqi United beat St Andrews 4–1, while Zero Sei defeated Parr Mela Rockets 6–4 to reach the semi‑finals.

In the Men Challenger Futsal League, Futsal Selection U19 edged Futsal Selection U17 3–2 to strengthen their lead, while Sliema Futsal Fort Fitness beat Santa Venera Lightnings 6–4. Meanwhile, in the Premier Futsal League, leaders Luxol St Andrews Futsal maintained their unbeaten run with a 6–2 win over Marsaskala, and GZR Birzebbuga St Peter’s Futsal claimed an emphatic 11–3 victory over Zejtun Corinthians.

Futsal Selection also advanced to the Laferla Futsal Trophy quarter‑finals after defeating Santa Venera Lightnings 4–2.
