Dillon Mamo Secures First-Round Knockout Victory

Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) gunner Dillon Mamo delivered an impressive performance in the kickboxing ring, securing a spectacular first-round knockout victory during a national bout on October 18.

Mamo, who serves with the AFM's 1 Regiment, needed just one minute and 28 seconds to defeat his opponent, delivering a powerful knee strike that brought the contest to an early conclusion.

The victory highlighted Mamo's striking ability, determination and preparation under the guidance of his coach, former AFM serviceman Staff Sergeant Noel Merceica.

Following this convincing triumph, Mamo is now preparing for a significant international challenge on November 28, when he will face an opponent from Malaysia with the prestigious WKN International Title at stake.

The upcoming contest represents an important opportunity for the Maltese kickboxer to showcase his abilities on the international stage.

The Armed Forces of Malta congratulated Mamo on his outstanding achievement and extended their best wishes as he prepares for his forthcoming title fight.
