Cody Darmanin delivered one of his most determined performances yet during the fourth round of the Island Karting Club Championship, showcasing speed, resilience, and maturity in challenging conditions. Saturday’s sessions were dedicated to fine‑tuning the kart, with strong pace throughout testing. On Sunday, mixed and wet weather added complexity, but Darmanin rose to the occasion, qualifying an impressive 3rd out of 16 drivers.

The semi‑final brought early excitement as Cody stormed into the lead on the opening lap, controlling the race until a late mistake dropped him to 9th, later adjusted to 7th. Undeterred, he launched a remarkable charge in the final, climbing from 7th to 2nd in the opening laps and pulling clear of the chasing pack in tricky wet‑to‑dry conditions.
