Coach Alfred Attard Names 30-Player Malta Squad for UEFA Regions’ Cup

Head coach Alfred Attard, assisted by Clint Tabone, has named a provisional 30-player squad as Malta prepares for the upcoming UEFA Regions’ Cup Intermediate Round in the Republic of Ireland.

The coaching staff will reduce the selection to a final 18-man travelling squad ahead of the team’s departure on Friday, October 30. Malta has been drawn in Group 8 alongside Split of Croatia, hosts Munster and Uzda of Belarus.

All three matches will be played in Cork. Malta opens its campaign against Split at Knockgriffin Park on Sunday, November 1, before facing Munster at Turners Cross Stadium on Wednesday, November 4. The group campaign concludes against Uzda at Knockgriffin Park on Saturday, November 7.

The provisional selection features three goalkeepers and 27 outfield players representing clubs across the Maltese domestic game.
