Club Captain Dino Zammit Leaves Sliema Aquatic Sports Club After Five Year Adventure

Sliema ASC and club captain Dino Zammit have mutually agreed not to extend their partnership, bringing to a close an incredible five-year chapter.

Throughout his time with the club, Dino has shown immense commitment, dedication and pride as a Blue. He played a key role in helping Sliema lift multiple honours, including the historic Double in 2024, when the League title was brought back to pitch after 15 years.

Dino was also part of the history made by Sliema ASC on the European stage over the past two seasons. In his final season, Dino served the club impeccably as captain, leading and guiding the team to a historic bronze finish in Europe, another milestone in the club’s history.

Sliema ASC thanked Dino for everything he has given to Sliema ASC over the past five years, remarking that his "commitment, leadership and service to the club will always be appreciated," while wishing him "nothing but the very best for the future."
