Clayton Failla Receives Heartfelt Messages Ahead Of Final appearance

Ahead of his final Premier League appearance, former teammates, coaches, and loved ones sent heartfelt messages to Clayton Failla, who will make his final appearance today.

Gżira United are set to face Floriana tonight at 21:00 at the National Stadium, during which Failla will surely be given "the send off that he truly deserves," celebrating a decorated career for both club and country.

Failla was sent a message of deep love and respect from Gżira United technical director Marlon Galea, before being addressed by multiple teammates, coaches, and even his wife and two sons.

He played for a myriad of clubs over his stellar career, starting with Żabbar St Patrick FC, before playing for Hibernians, Hamrun Spartans, Birkirkara, Floriana, Sliema Wanderers, and Mosta, before joining Gżira United at the start of this season.

As Failla is set to hang up his boots, tonight will surely be an emotional night for him, wrappng up a Premier League career of 526 matches, winning all top honours in Maltese football, and being named MFA player of the year twice, during the 2008/2009 and the 2011/2012 seasons.
