Clayton Abela was named world champion of the Short Course Event (3.7km) during the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships 2026 held in Limerick, Ireland, placing first in his age group.
Malta Obstacle Course Racing congratulated Clayton, remarking that he "made all Malta proud," achieving his second personal podium and Malta's first ever first place podium, making history for his country.
