Chris Cardona Elected Birkirkara FC President After Extraordinary General Meeting On 21st May

Birkirkara FC have appointed Dr. Christian Cardona as President of the Club with immediate effect following an Extraordinary General Meeting held on 21st May 2026, during which the motion of no confidence in the previous Committee was approved.
Together with Vice Presidents Mr. Gordon Spiteri and Mr. Michael Spiteri, Cardona will be proposing a full Committee structure for the formal approval of the Club’s members in accordance with the Club Statute.
Dr. Cardona and the incoming leadership are already working on the Club’s immediate priorities, with further announcements expected in the coming days.
