Chelsea Beat AC Milan In 2nd Visit Malta Weekender Match

Chelsea secured victory in the second friendly of the VisitMalta Weekender, defeating AC Milan 4-1 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
Before the match, captain Reece James and coach Enzo Maresca presented the Club World Cup trophy to supporters.
Maresca made six changes from Friday’s game against Bayer Leverkusen, with Joao Pedro, Tosin Adarabioyo, Pedro Neto, Enzo Fernandez and Jamie Gittens among the starters.
Chelsea took an early lead through an own goal by Andrea Coubis, quickly followed by Joao Pedro’s header.
Coubis was later sent off for denying a clear chance. Liam Delap scored twice, including a penalty, while Youssouf Fofana netted Milan’s only goal.
Cole Palmer hit the crossbar, and Milan had a goal ruled out for offside.
After the final whistle, Malta Tourism Authority CEO Carlo Micallef presented the trophy, highlighting the partnership’s aim to promote Malta as a cultural and sporting destination.
