Charlton Debono Shines at World Masters Athletics Championships in Daegu

Maltese runner Charlton Debono delivered a standout performance at the World Masters Athletics Championships in Daegu, South Korea, proudly representing Malta as the nation’s sole competitor at the prestigious event.

Despite the demanding conditions around 30°C heat paired with high humidity Debono produced an exceptional race, finishing in 1:13:14. His result placed him 7th in the M40 category and an impressive 9th overall, competing against nearly 1,300 international athletes.
