Maltese badminton player Samuel Cassar saw his singles journey at the 2026 Mediterranean Games come to an end on Tuesday morning after a straight‑sets defeat to Italy’s Giovanni Toti, who prevailed 21–9, 21–10 to secure his place in the semifinals.
