Caffè Moak Luxol sweep Starlites to clinch Women’s League title

Caffè Moak Luxol were crowned Women’s League champions after completing a commanding 3–0 sweep over Starlites, winning Game 3 by 62–51 in a final that showcased resilience, depth and top‑level execution.
Starlites opened strongly, taking a 38–33 half‑time lead after an energetic first two quarters. But Luxol responded with a superb second‑half performance, tightening defensively and finding greater fluency in attack. Their composure after the break proved decisive as they overturned the deficit and closed out the series in style.
For Starlites, Michela Zammit Cordina led the scoring with 17 points, supported by Mikaila Naoleon with 10 points and Pippa Riolo, who added 6 points and 10 rebounds.
Luxol, however, were driven once again by the outstanding duo of Olivia Wikstrom and Sarah Fenech Pace, with young Eve Axisa also making an important contribution. Wikstrom delivered a phenomenal 27 points and 19 rebounds, earning her the Finals MVP award.
This triumph also highlights the remarkable depth of the Luxol squad, with many of these players already securing both the Under‑19 and Under‑23 league titles earlier this season a testament to the club’s strong development and winning culture.
