Birżebbuġa St. Peter's FC Release Statement On Owner's Failure To Fulfill Financial Responsibilities

Birżebbuġa St. Peter's FC have released a statement announcing that their owner, Seventy7 Sports & Ketan Makwana has, to date, failed to fulfil his financial obligations towards the Club, falling significantly short of the commitments and terms established in the initial agreement reached in May 2026.

The Club wishes to reassure its players, supporters and all stakeholders that it is actively taking the necessary steps to safeguard their interests and protect the integrity, stability and future of Birżebbuġa St. Peter’s F.C. The Club remains committed to acting responsibly, transparently and in the best interests of all those associated with it.

Upon the advice of its legal counsel, the club will limit its public comments on this matter to the contents of this statement and will refrain from making any further declarations at this stage.

The club remarked that it remains firmly committed to its values, its community and its future.
