Birkirkara Ultras Release Statament Regarding Extraordinary General Meeting

Birkirkara FC Ultras released a statement to all members of Birkirkara FC with the latest updates regarding the club members' wish to hold an extraordinary general meeting.

The club's ultras mentioned that they sent an email to the club's secretary, as well as to the Malta Football Association (MFA) in the name of the members who signed for such a meeting to be called, with the aim of urgently discussing the committee's leadership and some other general things, with the signatures attached to the email. The statute argues that an extraordinary general meeting is called in the case that a third of the members (33.3%) ask for it.

Until the 21st of April, the committee present communicated with the members that there are between 470-480 members that payed the yearly fee this season.

Clause number 15 in the club's statute states that "members have the right of vote after 3 months from the date they are accepted as regular members."

In the case of mistrust or election, the statute states that those 470-480 members will be eligible to vote.

Birkirkara Ultras thanked its members and remarked that they will let them know about any updates.
