Birkirkara Celebrate Head Coach Paul Zammit on His Birthday

Birkirkara FC marked the birthday of their head coach Paul Zammit with a tribute recognising his long‑standing impact on Maltese football. Zammit, born on 21 September 1969, is one of Malta’s most experienced managers, currently leading Birkirkara after returning to the club in January 2026.

Across a managerial career spanning more than two decades, Zammit has coached several top Maltese clubs including Valletta, Sliema Wanderers, Balzan, Gżira United, and multiple spells at Birkirkara. His honours include four Premier League titles, multiple Super Cups, and FA Trophy victories, establishing him as one of the league’s most decorated coaches.

Zammit’s return to Birkirkara earlier this year followed the departure of Gianluca Festa, with the club turning once again to a coach known for discipline, structure and strong squad identity.
