Balzan U15 clinch Section B title after dominant win against Sliema

Balzan U15 clinched the Section B title after a dominant win over Sliema at Rabat Ground last Sunday, achieving promotion to Section A as champions.

After suffering an early scare in the 5th minute, Balzan's Kairon Micallef levelled the score in the 39th minute, after which the same player completed his brace and gave his side the lead right before the end of the first half.

The score remained the same until the dying moments of the game, when Jacob Gerada scored Balzan's third, before Luca Sciberras sealed the victory for Balzan with a result which confirmed Balzan's dominance in the league.

The stands were packed as supporters cheered their side on to championship glory, marking the end of a very successful season for the young boys in red.
