Balzan hold Floriana To 1-1 Draw At Victor Tedesco Stadium

Floriana and Balzan finished level in Sunday's morning fixture played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, with the greens missing out on the chance to equal Valletta with 16 points at the top of the table.

Balzan opened the score early on in the game, when Oluwatobiloba Awosanya put the reds in front in the 9th minute. Floriana managed to equalise late on in the game, with Paul Mbong converting from the spot to give the greens a hard fought point.

Floriana have so far collected 14 points from seven games, and are now two points away from first place Valletta, with four games remaining before the top and bottom six teams are decided to see who will finish in the top and bottom positions of the Opening Round.
