Azzopardi, Parnis and Busuttil Set for International Test at Balkan Championships

Malta will once again be represented on the international stage this weekend as sprinters Claire Azzopardi, Thea Parnis and Jorrin Busuttil head to Belgrade for the Balkan Championships. The trio will line up in the 60m event, continuing their steady rise in regional competition and adding another important chapter to their athletic development.

Azzopardi, who has shown consistent progress in her indoor performances, will be looking to build on recent strong outings. Parnis, known for her explosive starts, enters the championships eager to test herself against some of the region’s quickest sprinters. Busuttil, one of Malta’s promising young talents, will also relish the opportunity to gain valuable experience on a high‑level international platform.
