Ayrton Tonna Claims Podium After Gritty Fightback in IKC Championship Round

Ayrton Tonna delivered a determined and disciplined performance in the fourth round of the IKC Championship, overcoming setbacks to secure another well‑earned podium. Saturday’s practice sessions brought mixed emotions as early speed gave way to the realisation that more pace was needed. Despite the challenging weather, Tonna showed impressive form in damp conditions and qualified a solid P4.

The pre‑final tested his resilience when a difficult start dropped him to the back of the grid. Refusing to give up, he carved his way through the field to reclaim P4 by the finish. In the final, another tough launch forced him to fight forward once more. Tonna climbed to P2 and held strong until mid‑race, eventually crossing the line in P3. Even after a five‑second penalty, he retained his podium position.
