Ayrton Jon Tonna Fights Back to Secure Strong P2 Finish in IKC Round 3

A determined performance from young driver Ayrton Jon Tonna marked the third round of the IKC Championship, as he turned a difficult qualifying session into an impressive podium result. Coming into the weekend with confidence after showing strong pace in practice, Tonna immediately proved competitive by topping the timesheets ahead of qualifying.

However, his momentum was disrupted when he was struck by another driver during qualifying, leaving him with only one completed lap and no representative time. Forced to start from the back in the pre‑final, Tonna delivered a composed and aggressive drive through the field, climbing to P4 by the chequered flag.

Starting the final from the second row, he made a superb launch, quickly moving into P2, where he maintained his position with disciplined defending and consistent pace. His recovery drive highlighted both resilience and racecraft, earning him a valuable haul of championship points.
