ATTARD FC WEAR PURPLE RIBBONS IN AWARENESS OF TESTICULAR CANCER

Champions of the BOV Amateur League 1, Attard FC, have been wearing a special purple ribbon on their kits in recent matches as part of efforts to raise awareness for testicular cancer.
In a Facebook post, the Seraċini explained that during April they played for more than just the badge, taking to the pitch with testicular cancer awareness ribbons before kick-off. The initiative aimed to promote the importance of early detection, which can be life-saving.
The club also used the opportunity to send a strong message to supporters, encouraging everyone to check themselves regularly, speak openly about health concerns, and look out for teammates both on and off the pitch.
