Anthony Joshua is reportedly considering retirement from professional boxing, according to claims made by his uncle, Adedamola Joshua.
He suggested that the former heavyweight champion has already informed those closest to him of his intention to step away from the sport, marking a potential end to a glittering boxing career.
The reports come just a week after Joshua was involved in a car accident in Nigeria, during which he sustained minor injuries. The tragic incident claimed the lives of two of his close friends, Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele and Sina Ghami, adding further weight to what is understood to be a deeply difficult period for the boxer.
