Andrew Xuereb reached 100 senior appearances in Fgura United’s 2-2 draw against Mġarr United, with the defensive midfielder celebrating an important milestone in his football career.
Xuereb went through the ranks at San Ġwann FC, winning both the U15 Section A League and Knockout competition as the team captain.
He went on to make his debut with the senior team and sign his first professional contract with the yellows. In 2023, Xuereb joined Fgura United and has since been a regular for both Coach Kevin Vella and now Coach Ryan Fenech.
Before the match, club president Larkin Bonnici presented Andrew with a memorial on reaching this important milestone, accompanied by all players and coaching staff.
