Andrea Zammit Reflects On Valletta's UEFA Conference League Exit

Andrea Zammit spoke with Malta Daily after Valletta's elimination from the UEFA Conference League, in which he shared his thoughts regarding the outcome of the match.

He argued that Valletta started strong, especially during the first 20 minutes, yet failed to react after conceding the first goal, after which the team conceded a second goal before the break.

Zammit remarked that the team tried to make some changes in the second half, but did not manage to overturn the game, even arguing that Sekulovic's red card further influenced the match, with the team going down to ten men.

Andrea shared that from then onwards, the match became an uphill battle, as the team strived to fight back, yet Raków Częstochowa proved too strong on the day.
