Ħamrun Spartans seal new partnership with DuoCalcio in Syracuse

Ħamrun Spartans FC have formalised a new collaboration with DuoCalcio SRLS in Syracuse, Italy, strengthening the club’s international network and opening fresh pathways for football development. The agreement places strong emphasis on player exchanges, joint tournament organisation, sports tourism initiatives, and specialised football courses to be held in Malta.

The Spartans were represented in Sicily by Victor Cassar and Ian Debattista, who met with DuoCalcio officials Giorgio Abeni, Nunzio Scuderi, and Giulio Preite to finalise the partnership. The collaboration was facilitated by Carl Peralta, whose involvement helped bring both sides together.

This strategic link aims to provide young Maltese players with broader exposure while attracting Italian teams and coaches to Malta for training and competition. For Ħamrun Spartans, the agreement marks another step in expanding their technical and developmental structures beyond local borders.
