Ħamrun Spartans Hard At Work For Return Of Malta Premier League

Ħamrun Spartans are putting in the work ahead of an eventful October, during which the team will return to Malta Premier League action action after an absence of two weekends of official domestic matches.

Following a shaky start to their campaign during which the team lost 2-0 to Mosta and 1-0 to Birkirkara, Marco Amelia's men bounced back with a 1-1 draw against champions Floriana, a 2-1 win against Żabbar St. Patrick Football Club, a 2-0 win against Birżebbuġa St. Peter's FC, and an emphatic 4-1 victory over in-form Marsaxlokk, collecting 10 points from 6 games.

The team returns to action on Sunday 11th October, where they will face Hibernians at the Tony Bezzina Stadium at 15:30. They then face Gżira United on Sunday 18th October at the Victor Tedesco Stadium at 11am.

They face Balzan in a midweek fixture on Wednesday 21st October at the Centenary Stadium at 18:00, after which Ħamrun face Valletta on Sunday 25th October at the Tony Bezzina Stadium at 15:30, with details regarding their fixture against Sliema Wanderers yet to be determined.
