Ħamrun Spartans Face Mosta On Final Day Of Matchday 1

Ħamrun Spartans and Mosta are set to clash in one of the two games left from the final day of matchday 1 of the new Malta Premier League season.

Ħamrun Spartans finished third in last season's campaign, securing their place in this season's UEFA Conference League. However, they were eliminated in the first round after a controversial penalty led to their elimination at the hands of NSÍ Runavík.

Mosta avoided relegation after beating Naxxar Lions 1-0 in a relegation decider, securing their place in Malta's top flight for another season.

Both teams look to bounce back from their setbacks, with the opening match serving as an opportunity to make a statement when they face each other tonight at 20:30 at the Centenary Stadium.\
