Ħamrun Spartans Eye Vital Victory as Gżira United Seek First League Win

Ħamrun Spartans face Gżira United this morning at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, with kick-off at 11am, in an important VBET Malta Premier League encounter.

The Spartans enter the match determined to strengthen their Top Six ambitions after surrendering a late lead in their 2-2 draw against Hibernians last weekend.

Coach Marco Amelia has urged his players to show greater concentration and ruthlessness, particularly when protecting an advantage.

Ħamrun will welcome back midfielder Ognjen Bjelicic following suspension, providing an additional boost ahead of the encounter.

Meanwhile, Gżira United remain without a league victory this season, having collected just three points from seven matches.

The Maroons, who recently drew 1-1 against Sliema Wanderers and Mosta, will be desperate to secure their first three points.

With both teams seeking a positive result for different reasons, Sunday's clash promises an intriguing battle as the Premier League campaign gathers momentum.
