Ħamrun SC wrote a historic chapter in Maltese beach‑soccer history after defeating their opponents 4–1 in Nazaré, becoming the first Maltese team ever to win an official Euro Beach Soccer match. The Spartans delivered a commanding performance from start to finish, combining sharp attacking play with disciplined defensive structure.
The breakthrough came through Edson Rocha Da Paz, who opened the scoring with a composed finish. Willian Caldas Araujo doubled the advantage shortly after, capitalising on sustained pressure. The star of the night, however, was Luiz Antonio Almeida Gomes Paixão, who struck twice to seal the victory and underline Ħamrun’s superiority on the sand.
