Ħamrun SC and Sliema ready to represent Malta in Nazaré

Ħamrun SC and Sliema Beach Soccer will proudly represent Malta in Nazaré, Portugal, as both clubs prepare for a demanding week of continental competition. The tournament, running from 5 to 11 June, gathers Europe’s top beach‑soccer teams on one of the sport’s most iconic stages.

Ħamrun SC will compete in the Euro Winners Challenge and begin their group commitments on Friday, 5 June at 16:45 against Kefallinia AO BS, before facing FC Genappe on Saturday, 6 June at 17:45. Their final group match comes on Sunday, 7 June at 19:30 against hosts AD Nazaré 2022, a fixture expected to draw a strong local crowd.

Sliema Beach Soccer will compete in the Euro Winners Cup open their campaign late on Sunday, 7 June at 17:00 against Falfala, followed by a second outing on Monday, 8 June at 13:45 versus Ecoris. Their group stage concludes on Tueday, 9 June at 12:30 with a decisive clash against Bavaris Beach.
