Alec Fenech Joins Italian Serie A1 side Roma Vis Nova For 2026/27 Winter Season

San Ġiljan ASC have announced that Alec Fenech has joined Italian Serie A1 side Roma Vis Nova for the 2026/27 winter season, marking his first season competing in Italy’s highest division of water polo.

A Malta Senior National Team athlete, Alec has already gained valuable international experience at club level, having spent one season with Miskolc in Hungary, followed by two seasons with Steaua București in Romania, where he was crowned Romanian National Champion in 2026.

His move to Roma Vis Nova represents another important step in his career, offering him the opportunity to further develop his game while competing in one of Europe’s established water polo leagues.

San Ġiljan ASC expressed satisfaction at seeing Alec continue his progress at international level and wished him every success in this new chapter of his career.
