Aldama commits to Valletta for 2026/27 season

Valletta FC have confirmed that Thaylor Aldama will remain with the club for the 2026/27 season, extending the stay of a player who has quickly become a favourite among supporters. The Spanish‑Angolan winger, who joined Valletta ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, previously enjoyed successful spells with Hibernians and Gżira United, where he built a strong reputation for creativity, work rate and attacking flair.

Aldama’s career has taken him through several Spanish clubs including Celta Vigo, SD Eibar and Real Unión before moving to Malta in 2021. His impact has been consistent across all teams, contributing goals, assists and leadership in key moments.

Last season, Aldama made 38 appearances for Valletta, delivering numerous decisive contributions that helped shape a memorable campaign for the Citizens. His renewal ensures continuity in Valletta’s attacking structure as the club looks to build on its progress under coach Thane Micallef.
