Ahweafa Garenne & Miraya Borg Shine For Malta At Roma Fight Night

Pro Muay Thai fighter Ahweafa Garenne, representing Malta, claimed the prestigious WMO International Professional Title at The Roma fight night in Rome, Italy, on 10 October 2026, defeating England's Sybilla Ulfig, ranked number two in her country for Muay Thai.

The victory adds to Garenne's impressive achievements, having already won the WBC MuayThai Pro European Title earlier this year. Ranked among the world's top 10 female fighters in her weight category, Garenne now has her sights set on competing on the global stage, such as RWS and ONE Championship.

Also representing Malta in Rome, 17-year-old Miraya Borg secured her first international amateur Muay Thai victory against an opponent from Ukraine.
Both fighters train and compete out of Malta Fight Co in Sliema, continuing to represent Malta on the international Muay Thai scene.
