Asked what motivated him to accept the new role, Mazzotta cited various reasons but highlighted how he had remained close to the players and friends from Malta during his career here.
The decision was taken immediately and instinctually he told Keith, explaining that he is now getting the chance to guide a team that is close to his heart.
