Speaker Farrugia Commends Outgoing Polish Ambassador For Strengthening Malta–Poland Relations

During a farewell meeting held at the Parliament of Malta, Speaker of the House of Representatives Anġlu Farrugia expressed his appreciation to the outgoing Ambassador of Poland, Tomasz Czyszek, for his valuable contributions in strengthening the long-standing bilateral relations between Malta and Poland.

Speaker Farrugia praised the close friendship between the two countries, rooted in shared European values and enhanced through meaningful cooperation in trade, education, research, and cultural exchange.
Ambassador Czyszek highlighted several key milestones achieved during his tenure, including record growth in trade and tourism between Malta and Poland, the successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Research and Innovation in 2024, and the inauguration of new premises for the Polish Embassy in Malta. He also acknowledged the growing collaboration between academic institutions in both countries.
Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continued dialogue and partnership within the European context, expressing optimism about future initiatives particularly in education, innovation, and cultural diplomacy.
