Songwriter Of ‘Heaven Sent’ Also Wrote JJ’s Winning Song!

The brilliant mind behind Eurovision Song Contest 2025’s winner JJ’s song ‘Wasted Love’ is the same songwriter behind Malta Eurovision 2025 runner-up Kristy Spiteri’s song ‘Heaven Sent’!

Over the past few days, Teodora Spiric, professionally known as TEYA, shared various photos congratulating Johannes Pietsch (stage name JJ).

‘Dear wasted love, what a journey you’ve taken us on’, she wrote on a post on social media.

‘i was only meant to be the songwriter. but somewhere along the way, I found myself in the middle of the ocean-guiding the creative direction.’

Back in February, Teya shared photos with Kristy, saying that her voice and soul are truly heaven sent.

‘You did an incredible job and it may not have worked out this time, but i can’t wait to see where your talent will take you in the future!’
