Sliema Building Evacuated After Ground Floor Fire

This morning, firefighters from Stations 2, 4, and 11 responded to a ground-floor commercial-fire in Sliema.
Civil Protection Malta reported how, as a precaution, the entire building was evacuated.
‘Fourteen residents were safely evacuated by CPD Firefighters and assessed for slight injuries by on site medical team.
Thankfully, no casualties required hospital admission.
CPD thanked the Mater Dei Hospital Emergency Department and the Malta Police Force for their assistance.
