Singer Mary Spiteri Celebrates 78th Birthday

Today marks the birthday of legendary Maltese singer and performer Mary Spiteri, one of Malta’s most celebrated musical icons. Born on 25 October 1947, Mary turns 78 today.
Over the years, she has enjoyed a long and successful career, winning the Malta Song for Europe in 1992 with her unforgettable song “Little Child.”
She went on to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden, where she achieved an impressive third place. The Maltese version of the song, “Tfajjel Ċkejken,” continues to hold a special place in the hearts of many.
