SiGMA returns to Malta once again, hosting a conference that is expected to attract 12,000 visitors throughout, with around 75% of the guests flying from all around the world.

The event kicks off tomorrow at 10am and is expected to run till approximately 6:00pm, featuring an incredible lineup of over 400 speakers and 2,880 affiliates. The same is expected to happen on Wednesday.

Startups are in for a treat as the conference includes a competition, offering the winner a plethora of opportunities to expand their business along with investors.

Guests can also visit VIP lounges, networking zones, chill out areas, food lounges, and dedicated stages such as the SiGMa Stage and Startup Village.

It is worth noting that out of the 400 exhibitors, 4 foreign companies are already looking for office spaces in Malta to expand their operations. This means that in the near future more jobs will be created in this growing successful gaming sector, in Malta.

Speaking to MaltaDaily at the venue whilst the final touch-ups are being done, the CEO of SiGMA, Emily Micallef, stated that “SiGMA is here to stay,” but has “toned down until the expo centre can accommodate bigger numbers.”

Beyond this excitement, yet again SiGMA is also making a real impact for Malta, boosting its economy. Last year’s event contributed over 100 million euros in tourism and supported 950 new jobs across multiple sectors.
