With an impressive average aircraft age of just 3.36 years, KM Malta Airlines operates a fleet of eight cutting-edge Airbus A320-200NEO aircraft, reinforcing its leadership in sustainable aviation.

There Are 13,081 Licensed Electric Vehicles In Malta

According to information tabled in parliament, Minister for Transport Chris Bonett revealed that there were 13,081 licensed electric vehicles in Malta as of the end of 2024.

The data revealed that there are also 9,696 mild hybrid (petrol-electric) vehicles as well as 424 mild hybrid (diesel-electric) vehicles.

Another 4,605 plug-in hybrid (petrol-electric) and 73 plug-in hybrid (diesel-electric) vehicles were also registered as licensed in the same period.

There Are 724 Inmates At Corradino Correctional Facility

In response to a parliamentary question posed by PN MP Graziella Galea, Minister Byron Camilleri revealed that there are 724 inmates at Corradino Correctional Facility.

According to the data tabled, 665 of these inmates are men, whereas 59 are women.

Meanwhile, there are 8 inmates, all men, at Mount Carmel Hospital, and another 3 in hospitals, also men.

There are another 26 men and 1 women at social reintegration programmes and drug rehabilitation programmes.

15 men and 2 women are currently at the Centre of Residential Restorative Services (CoRRs).

The Minister also revealed that 447 are serving a sentence, with another 277 persons under preventative arrest in prison.
