Celebrating King’s Day, an orange-filled celebration held on the 27th of April for the King’s birthday, local singer and songwriter Shaun Farrugia joined some prominent names as they celebrated in the Netherlands.

Shaun was not only joined by now close friend and musical collaborator DJ Martin Garrix but also by British-Belgian motorsports racing driver Lando Norris.

Norris is currently competing in Formula One with McLaren, racing under the British flag.

The group took to the rivers of the Netherlands for a boat party, celebrating the popular holiday as many others also made use of the holiday for some down time and drinks.

Maltese DJ Miggy performed in front of a crowd of over 100 thousand attendees at the Aperyshow Festival in Italy yesterday, Saturday 27th April.

Videos show Miguel Farrugia, known by his stage name Miggy, dropping some bangers to a massive crowd, blasting his presence in the music scene even higher.

Alongside Miggy, the lineup featured esteemed DJs and acts like Cristianino, Federico Scavo, Andrea Zellabba, Djs From Mars, Ginevra Lamborghini, Rudeejay, Tommy Vee, Senorita Brand, and more.

Miggy, at 21 years old, has become a rising talent in Malta’s music scene, known for his electrifying performances blending commercial and electronic dance music with signature mashups.

His journey began at a young age, curating and hosting teenage parties before gaining recognition at top clubs and venues like Tigullio, Havana Club, and Bora Bora Ibiza Malta. In 2022, he made his international debut at the World Club Dome in Frankfurt, followed by headlining MTV events in Malta and performing at World Club Dome Malta.

In 2023, he continued his success with performances across Europe and the release of his debut track “MADE YOU DO,” garnering over 500,000 streams. His future plans include further international exploration and collaborations with prominent music labels.

Ħamrun Spartans delivered a dominant performance yesterday, taking to the streets in celebration of their 10th championship title.

This came after they beat Floriana 5-0 and secured their position as Malta champions for the second consecutive season.

The streets of the locality was filled with red and black colours as supporters jubilated after yet another successful season.

Led by Luciano Zauri, the Spartans required a victory to guarantee their Premier League title, with over 8,000 fans filling the National Stadium.

Recreating a popular trend on TikTok in which someone is intentionally made to trip over someone else’s feet and handed the required items, the two Eurovision representatives joined forces to give Sarah the proper boost ahead of next month’s contest.

And in a humorous touch typical of the Busker, Dave and Jean Paul turn to reveal Sean’s printed face as he could not join the group for the farewell – given his recent marriage and launch into his honeymoon.
