Second Edition Of Cycling With Jack To Be Held On 28th September

The Malta Community Chest Fund and the Schiavone family will host the second edition of Cycling with Jack on 28th September, honouring the late cyclist Jack Schiavone while raising funds for those in need.

Jack, a respected national cyclist and former Malta coach, passed away after a battle with cancer, during which his family received support from the Fund. His wife Caroline and their children launched the event to celebrate his memory and give back to society.

Cyclists will ride from St Clare College, Pembroke, to Manoel Island and back, while family activities will be held at the college. The President of Malta, H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, praised the initiative, calling it “a chain of people who help one another.”

The public event is free of charge, though donations are welcome. Activities include children’s cycling, BMX demonstrations, basketball, and road safety sessions, alongside food, music, and entertainment.
